But he's already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don't take yourself too seriously— take God seriously. Micah 6:8
Chuck Wheat started his ministry in Costa Rica in 1991 in Matina, the Southeast part of the country. Chuck's teams built churches, Sunday school rooms , pastor houses, a youth camp with dormitories and a sports court, a day care, and 2 hospice rooms. His team also built and repaired many houses.
Chuck has one of the biggest hearts of any person you'll ever meet. Once he began a project, he made sure it was finished even if it meant him saying "My grandkids paid for that." He never started a project that he wasn't prepared to finished.
Chuck, now is fighting prostate cancer that has gone into spine and bladder. He is in the fight for and of his life, but firmly states that he will return to Costa Rica. So please pray for him and his family that he will be able to come to Costa Rica one more time.
